The researchers visited the Jamal Mohamed College and explained them the nature and purpose of the study. 125 random samples were taken for the study. A questionnaire was distributed to gather data and also interview through interview schedule was also employed in the collection of the data. Statistical tools like Percentage, Spearman‟s Correlation Coefficient and Chi- Square Test adopted for the study. Various comparisons and correlation made between the reading different types of materials, borrowing books, and satisfaction for borrowing books, reason for visiting libraries and seeking information and also information gathering habits through different formal and informal channels. The conclusions of this research provide recommendations for the library improvement and instructional development programme as suggestions for better use of college library. Keywords

Cloud computing, a popular topic in the past few years involves various technologies and provides scalable IT related services over the Internet. Much has been written about this concept and its applications in the IT and business fields. The aim of the study is to analyse the quantum literature output in the area of cloud computing from 2008-2012 from the Web of Knowledge. The downloaded 2207 data were analysed with the Bibexcel Tool. This objective of this article is to identify and analyse the rate and growth of scholarly publication, analyse the authorship pattern and to examine the publication type of research, application of Lotka's Law, Creating Label View, Cluster View and finding the Citation map. Keywords

The main objective of the study is to examine the Neem Research. In India the Neem has been applied safely and effectively in medicine for a long time. Here we are calling this is as "The village Pharmacy" or "Holy Tree". In Atharvana Veda, Upanishad and other Puranic texts Neem is celebrated as a medicinal plant. Medline covers the entire medicinal database. Five years data were downloaded from 2006 to 2010 with the help of PubMed Database. 392 results were obtained and the data were analyzed in different ways. Growth of literature, year-wise, author-wise, language-wise, country- wise and publication type wise have been analysed. These evaluations were done with the help of bibexcel tool. Keywords

The research on the analysis of the growth of literature on Genetic Engineering published in PubMed is conducted to know the language wise distribution, country-wise, continent wise, authorship pattern, single v/s multi authored papers and the deviation between average growth of literatures for fifteen year from 1998 to 2012 which published a total no. of publications of 145502 and the same has been utilized for the scientometric study. The language-wise distribution shows that English language publications were the most popular among the other language publications published in PubMed database. North America stood first place in literature production and China produced more number of literature among Asian countries. The Indian contribution towards the research on Genetic Engineering is only 3.26%. As the deviation of average no. of publications during each year is too much to predict the future trend of no. of publications on Genetic Engineering. The testing of Lotka's law proved that there is a significant difference in the author productivity. Each and every Government should allocate more funds towards conducting research on Genetic Engineering to make the society hale and healthy. Keywords

By the bite of a mosquito infected with one of the four dengue virus serotypes transmit Dengue. It is a febrile illness that affects infants, young children and adults with symptoms appearing 3-14 days after the infective bite. This paper deals with the bibliometric study on the publication of Dengue in the Web of Science database. For Dengue there is no vaccine or any specific medicine to treat. People who have dengue fever should rest, drink plenty of fluids and reduce the fever using paracetamol or see a doctor. The researcher takes data from the year 1999 to 2012 in the Web of Knowledge. Find out the highly cited references, yearly publications, h-index, document type, by language, the Geographical distribution of research and highly cited references. Keywords

The rate of cocoon production of adult earthworm, Eudrilus eugeniae kept in the 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 PSR (Percent Substrate Ratio) media prepared from partly decomposed Adhatoda vasica leaves waste with soil for 30 days determined. The worms kept in 50, 75, and 100 PSR media for 30 days showed a gradual increase in their body weight up to 22 days thereafter, a gradual decline until the termination of this study. However, the worms kept in the same media 50, 75 and 100 PSR after 30 days showed an increased value in their body weight over their respective initial weight. On the contrary, all the worms kept in 0 and 25 PSR media showed a gradual decrease in their body weight until the termination of this study. The worms kept in soil alone for 30 days produced only 5 cocoons for the entire course of the study due to less organic matters in the medium. The worms in the PSR media for 30 days produced relatively more cocoons. Though than control, the worms in 75 PSR Adhatoda vasica leaves medium is considered to be a good medium for the culture of earthworm, Eudrilus eugeniae. Keywords
